Day 3 Freedom Blog Challenge – My Perfect Day

Today is day 3 of my participation in Natalie Sisson’s 10 Day Freedom Plan blog challenge.  For me, my perfect day would begin with waking up in my husband’s arms.  We would enjoy some quiet time together before getting up to face the day.  He would make me chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast along with the perfect cup of coffee.  Once we finished breakfast, we would get ready and head out somewhere fun for the day.  Ideally, we would either be in Williamsburg, Virginia so we could spend the day at Busch Gardens, where we went on our honeymoon.  When we arrive at the park, we would park in the preferred parking area so we are close to the gate.  Upon entering the park, we would have the perfect picture taken.  Then we would get a cup of coffee and begin planning our day.

The day would revolve around all the shows the park provides.  Lunch would be in Germany so we could enjoy Octoberfest.  Then dinner would be in Italy.  Throughout the day, we would enjoy tasty treats, refreshments, and rides.  We would visit the stores and make some purchases.  The day at the park would end with fireworks.  Once we leave the park, we would go to the restaurant we went to on our honeymoon.  Finally, we would head back to our hotel and call it a day.

Finding My Focus – 10 Day Freedom

“This blog post is in response to Natalie’s 10 Day Freedom Plan Blog Challenge Day 1    10 Day Freedom Blog Challenge

So I decided to participate in Natalie Sisson’s 10 Day Freedom Blog Challenge.  Today is day 1 and I am examining what challenges I am facing currently.  Right now I have two major challenges.  The first challenge is time.  I am a wife, mother, Homeschool teacher for our three youngest children plus I am the Family Readiness Group leader for our Army Reserve unit.  We also are involved in our local church and online Bible studies, which takes time.  It is very hard to keep up with all these things, housework, cooking, and laundry.  So I try to do my best to devote time to my blog, but it is often what I sacrifice.  People take priority over things in my opinion.

The second challenge I have is a lack of funds to invest in my blog.  I have lots of ideas of what I would like to do with my blog, but most of those ideas cost money. I know monetizing my blog is something I need to do, but the first challenge of time makes coming up with a plan for that a challenge.

Several times I have thought I should really pursue monetizing my blog, but it just has not happened yet.
