#fmfparty – Build

So today I am doing something new here on the blog, I am participating in the #fmfparty , the Five Minute Friday writing prompt.  The prompt for today is build, and I definitely want to build up this blog and its following.  I want to build more content by writing more posts.  I want to share about my writing, our family and where I would like to get to in the future.

I would like to build connections with my readers.  After all, if I just wanted to write for me, I would choose to keep a personal journal rather than posting for everyone who cares to look at my posts to read.

I also want to build a writing habit.  For the last year, I have struggled with staying on top of posting here.  But I want to change that this year.  I want to build something that allows for me to connect with you, the reader.

I want to build my relationship with God and then share that with you through my posts.  But while I am building my blog, I want to build my relationships with my family.  So until next week, happy Friday.

  1. Welcome to FMF! It is a great community – it has built me up a lot in terms of my writing and I’m also grateful for the connections and friendships that have been built. Thanks for joining us! Visiting from #32.

  2. Five Minute Friday is a great way to begin and continue a writing habit. In 2013, when I started my first blog, it was #fmf that helped me so much to write and find community. It’s a blessing to be a part of such a caring community. Blessings to you! I’m your neighbor at #FiveMinuteFriday.
